Let's try, the opposite of failure! This past week was all ahead full in SSC. First up, in Austin Powers voice, LEO!

Yes, the above shots show pain, suffering, Sir Gastnot running away, etc. But The Blind One did die on Thursday. We've got some room to improve on execution though, and everyone knew it. The forums are abuzz this week with talk of preparation, focus, determination.
On to Sunday. We weren't really sure what was going to happen. The plan was to meet Hydross the Unstable for the first time. We have been avoiding him due to lack of resist gear on our key tanks. But we decided to give it a go.

Fail. 4 times in fact. Then, in one fateful moment, I suggested that we might still have enough time to get over to Fathom Lord to collect our tokens on a beaten encounter. After being shouted down by acclamation, we went in for try number five. Ironically, 5 is my lucky number... |

Yep. Fifth time was a charm. We beat him handily. Wasn't even close really. And hey look at the time. We still had 1.25 hours of posted raid time left. We distroed up the loot and headed in for FLK... |

About a minute later, FLK was takin a dirt nap and we decided we had JUST enough time to make a mad dash for Lurker Below. |

And so ended our first 3 boss night in Serpentshrine Cavern. Was very exciting to be a part of it, and I'm looking forward to meeting the Lady Vashj.
