Oh and to help me with my little Learn Spanish project, I downloaded the language pack and rolled a character on the Latin American server. Que bueno!

Ok back to WoW English. We’ve covered BoT normal and left off with some struggles on Nef, the final boss of Blackwing Depths.

Yeah we actually got the 1st boss of BoT down on Heroic mode while still struggling with Nef Normal.

And finally fast forward to this week.

We’ve been doing some fun heroics these days. Sometimes they go well and sometimes they go horribly. Both can be fun.

I don’t want to single anyone out since I know many of you have great runs with many Phankers. But I’ll just say my smooth runs involve a pair of Tauren where one name starts with an E and the other a Lumi.

Lots of success…

And a great time.

Some of the fights I couldn’t even screenshot. The one where you have to stand in the beams was amazing.

Sometimes the Heroic run is really rough. Again, I don’t mean to single anyone out but their names start with…my brothers. We go in with little knowledge and low level gear. It makes for a different kind of awesome. Like last night…

We died over and over… on the first boss. Somehow this expansion made every fight different based on your groups makeup. You have to be Really Good. Together. Or over-geared. We were not over-geared. We had a shaman healer, and a bunch of people hovering around 330 item level.

We tried over and over, each time changing the dynamic of our group. At the end had a pet tank, had the shaman dps and the paladin heal.

So yes, smooth and challenging is great and not smooth and challenging is great. The company is, as always, the best part.

We ran our first 25man raid last night. Well, we beat Magmaw with 24, but who’s counting.

Good times.

Raids now consist of 10 people for Phank. The leaders of them are calm good guys. And for those that don’t want to raid, or don’t have a time that lines up with a raid, there is a lot to do that gets you the same level of gear.

I guess Lua (Gwen) knows a warrior or two who keeps rolling a bad dice when it comes to getting the item they want.

There are also these achievements, which are just fun to do. Such a genius idea putting these into the game. The whole guild sees them, and they are usually funny.

Those globes are scattered about the dungeon in interesting places.

The quests are also fun and have cut scenes that are much more interesting than a bunch of boring NPC text.

And guild chat has been lovely. Even when the humor goes in the gutter.

We are a LGBT friendly guild. When he says gay, he means it.
